  • We have just me and my DH and our chihuahua. We spend around $250 every 2 week. I know it is a little much. But we eat the more expensive steaks. And a lot of fresh vegies.

  • $200 - $225 or less a month, 4 adults and 3 tweens (9, 11 and 12). That includes paper and personal care products as well. I cook just about everything from scratch and we eat very well: wet burritos, baked spaghetti, fajitas, pizza, chicken alfredo, teriyaki chicken, roasted chicken, burgers, roasts, veggie salads.....too many to list.

  • For DH, a teenage son and I, I usually spend about $125 a week. This includes cleaning supplies, paper goods, etc. I do not buy soda but do buy 12 oz bottles of Gatorade for DS lunch. I shop ads, use coupons, send in rebates, send away for free samples, etc.

  • about 400 a month, I make everything from scratch, wait for good deals on food like bogo, use coupons, use my gas-food perks. We have 5 people and that includes paper, cleaning, diapers and formula. We also have on a given day 1-4 extra mouths to feed. Our neighbors kids always eat here lol.

  • There are just two of us for now (sometimes 3 when my sister is staying with us), and soon to be a new baby. We try to stay around $200 a month, but sometimes we go a little over...

  • There are 3 of us, plus the occasional extra teen. We spend $60-80 a week. I cook mostly from scratch, and we eat a primarily whole foods diet. The only frozen dinners that we eat are the ones that I make.
