My sons 34lbs and about 35 inches. But from comparing with other moms on cafemom, he is way ahead of his age group.

  • He's big, but both his height and weight are high. I think he's proportional. Don't worry about it.

  • I don't know what is considered overweight for a child that young. My son is 19 months, is about 33 inches or so and weighs 23 pounds. But then, he's only in the 15 percentile for weight and is really skinny (very healthy according to the pediatrician, just really skinny). So your son may be at the higher end of the spectrum but not necessarily overweight.

  • i don't know what the average is or anything but i would just try to feed him healthy and make sure he's active (um i think all 20 month olds are very active so you shouldn't have a problem there!) and then not really worry about his weight so much :)
