Am I horrible?

This morning my dh and I had a huge fight before I left for work. I have been off for two hours and I am sitting at the library. I am waiting until the kids settle down to go home. I just don't want to be around him. Is that really bad?

  • No. Some people need time to cool off. You should face it eventually, though.

  • I dont think its bad. However I would have went home to figure out an agreement to relieve the tention for when the kids got home.

  • I just hope he doesn't call my work though. Then I am in trouble.

  • You need some time to yourself, there's nothing wrong with that.

  • If he is waiting on supper then he might be pissed you are not at home and it might be worse

  • No actual he is cooking supper himself. Not to excuse myself but I did tell him I didn't know what time I would be at home.

  • While I don't think it's wrong to want to cool down before you face him again, I don't think purposely hiding out somewhere is the best way to go. He might be anxious to get it all settled or not. We don't know him, you do. But since you said you hope he doesn't call your work, maybe you already know what you should have done instead of going to the library when you got off work. You were at work and away from him today so maybe that should have been enough time apart and now you need to fix things from this morning.

  • I have to agree with you anon 5:50. I know I am wrong. I guess I am just really tired of the fighting and hoping that they are asleep when I get home is being a coward.
