Did your toddler go through a stage where he only wanted to eat one thing?

DS went through a yogurt phase where he would eat it three times a day, some with every meal, if I let him. No he is the same way with grits. How in the world do you get a 14month old to actually eat a balanced diet???

  • my cousins son will only eat mcdonalds chicken nuggets, thats it. Nothing else, she tried putting generic in a mcnugget box.. nope. She tried making him wait to eat until he would eat something different.. nope. She finally just gave up. She'd be screwed if mcdonalds went out of business.

  • Mine prefers mac and cheese but I do it for a few days and then we move on. In a few weeks I do mac and cheese again. I don't want her eating just one thing. I make sure that she gets plenty of rotation in her diet.

  • Mac and cheese, she asks for it as soon as she wakes up... could it be that it was my pregnancy craving with her?
