Best way to defrost carrots pureed with breastmilk?

I know I should just let it thaw overnight, but I forgot to and wanted to give her some...I froze it in an ice tray but I know you aren't supposed to microwave breastmilk...any ideas for a quick thaw? Thanks!

  • run under hot water or put in bowl of hot water

  • boil a pot of hot water then stick it in the hot water until warm

    actually you should NOT thaw in a fridge you should use this same method to defrost breastmilk

  • It is fine to thaw breastmilk overnight in your refrigerator. The main thing to remember when thawing breastmilk is to do it slowly. If you want to thaw it more quickly, it can be placed in a pan of cool to lukewarm running water.

    I have breastfed 4 babies.

  • It is perfectly fine to thaw your breastmilk in the fridge. You just can't refreeze it.
