  • Get down on your knees and walk around your house. Pay attention to everything within your vision. If there is something that might be dangerous that sits at about eye level or lower (or a little higher) then move it or fix it or deal with it accordingly.
plugs, wires, tv's, knives and things on the kitchen counters if you have low counters. etc etc.
Also, it wont be too long before the child is climbing so keep that in mind too.

  • Safety plug all electrical outlets, safety latch all cabinets (especially medicine), pad all sharp corners of furniture, fence off areas, lock all rolling items, and box all extension cords. Getting down on hand and knees and walking around your house is an excellent idea!
