does ebt foodstamps cover formula?

does anyone know if ebt foodstamps in california covers formula? we're going through a rough patch since dh got laid off and i medically cant bf but wic doesnt provide enough for ds plz if anyone knows! thank you!

  • from what information I was able to gather all states are movign from foodstamps to the "snaps" benifits which are the electronic ebt cards. And that formula is covered. YOu can google snaps benifits... or foodstamps

  • no it does not. it covers baby rice. and gerber but not formula. theirs places you can look for help with baby stuff what county do you live in?

    Yes as far as I know it does. When I lived in OKC and was on it that is how I got my sons formula.

  • YES, I used to get it on my FS when my WIC ran out. My daughter is only 3 so I doubt its changed since then! If you can eat it or cook with it, you can get it.
