  • Because some people aren't insecure about their weight. I don't mind sharing mine (170lbs at 5ft 8.5in tall) but no one believes me. Apparently I don't look that heavy..but I think I look heavier. ha!

  • Because it gives them an incentive to lose weight in some cases. It holds them accountable without having a person "overseeing them". That and they know alot of women are competitive and wouldn't want their friends to see that they were gaining weight.

  • Some people aren't ashamed of their weight. If they are comfortable sharing their weight, then they have every right to share their weight.
