can you give pasta with vodka sauce to a toddler?

sorry if this is a silly question, but just was curious. i would assume there is minimal alcohol content in vodka sauce to be harmful to a toddler but just checking. i'm specifically speaking of store bought sauce, emiril's vodka sauce... thanks!

  • Yes you can!! as the sauce was cooked it burned the alcohol..so it gives it a sweet flavor...we cook with wine all the time!

  • Yes, the alcohol is all cooked out. I cook with wine all the time and my toddler eats the food. If it didn't cook out, I wouldn't feed it to her!

  • The alocohol cooks out of the suace, it's just the flavor that is left. You're fine to give it to your toddler.

  • I would be surprised if the store bought kind ever had any real vodka in it anyway really.
