Can I wash and dry my down comforter in the washer/dryer?

It needs a good wash...not dry cleaned! My son spilled a little chocolate milk on it and it has no duvet cover!

  • Haha, thats funny because my 3yr old daughter spilt Chocolate Milk on mine just last week and I just threw it in the washer and dryer.... The insides get a little clumped up but you just have to shake it all out when its done drying and it should be fine.

  • Yep, you can. When you dry it though, put like 3 or so tennis balls in the dryer with it and it will come out fluffy and not clumped! My mama taught me that one! ;)

  • I agree about the tennis balls. It does actually help, though it may be noisey it helps to dry it fluffy!
