My 2 month old son is eating half of what he use to.

My son is 9 weeks old. In the past couple of days He has gone from taking 5-6 oz every 3-4 hours to only taking 3-4 oz every 2-3 hours.
Is it true babies go thru a growth spurt, and then slow down like this?
He still has the same amount of dirty diapers each day.
Should I be concerned?

  • it is normal. my baby is 6 months and just started eating 6oz at a time. but during growth spurts she ate that before.

  • Yes, those grow spurts can really fool you becuase you don't realize it's a growth spurt until after.
