heart rate and working out..

So, I just started working out again (I have an 8 week old) and last night while I was on the eliptical...I noticed my heart rate was up to 200 but my "target heart rate" was 131...that seemed concerning to me...

I wasn't feeling tired or anything, just light headed...what's up with that?

  • usually when i do the elipticall my target heart rate is 158 but i usually keep it at around 170 or 180. my heart rate has gotten up to 200 before, but i wouldnt recommend to keep it at that for a long time. just slow down or stop for a minute and it should go down. your heart rate is gonna go up the faster and harder your working out, and longer.
