  • More info?

Is baby latching on well? How long for? When are they unlatching? Is it always or sometimes? Is it after the letdown? How old is your baby? How long have they been unlatching?

  • My LO wouldn't latch on well at the hospital or at home so I pumped and used nipple shields. At his 2 week check up his dr discovered that he was tongue tied. We had to take him to an ENT to get it clipped and he did great from that day on. We couldve waited but his dr said that he would probably have speech problems in a year or so and if we got it clipped then he'd have to be put under. It didn't hurt him, he was crying before anything went in his mouth because he was hungry and the second the dr was done I put his bottle in his mouth and he was fine. He stuck his tongue out all day that day lol. Good luck.
