Stain removal for coats?

So I checked my kids coats from last year and they fit great (YAY!) unfortunately they dont look perfect- there's not a lot but enough little specks on rubbed in mess ( they were washed regularly last year but you know mud and such) and so I am looking for ways to make them look newer? any ideas? (ie: soaking in something etc) the coats themselfves are in great condition just need deep cleaned.

  • Try soaking them in OxyClean or other oxygen bleach-follow the soaking directions on the package. I've had great luck with this, even with really old stains.

  • I've used a mix of the following products (altogether) for cleaning stained clothes in the washer:

    concentrated detergent
    oxyclean
    borax
    shout
    white vinegar
    hot water
