Any single moms sharing their bedroom with their DC?

My daughter and I share a 1 bedroom apartment. How can I have enough room for her toys and "my space"?

  • At one time I had to share a one bedroom with two small children. I used the dining room as their play room.

  • Give her the bedroom and you take the pull-out couch. She goes to bed and closes the door. You have your room. Pull-outs have gotten more comfortable these days. OR, get 2 loft beds. Both of you sleep "up" but you have all the floor space.

  • I am a single mom and have never shared a room with my child. I would take the couch before I shared a room.

  • I'm glad everyone is so rich. I have a pull out couch and it was extremely uncomfortable so I got a twin and we share a room. I have a bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom.
