  • the passage has to be read in the entire context.. as Shaneagle said - it doesn't contradict. there's 10 verses in between that gives the full meaning of the passage.

  • The Bible was not written in verses. It was written in books. The verses were added later for reference points in sermons. You can't grab a chunk here and there and hope to divine meaning.

  • Typical christian answers--which is parroting "out of context, out of context!!" This is an example of a judeo/roman/christian trying to have his cake and eat it too. Or let the christians he is writing to have theirs. It contradicts because that is what the bible does best!
