Time Change

So DH's R&R is coming up soon and we are going to a time zone that is -2 hours from where we are now. If DH werent going to be there, this wouldnt be an issue and I would keep DD current schedule according to our time zone.
But since DH will be there, Id like for DD to be able to spend lots of time with him....and not have me wake up at 4am everyday. So how should I help DD get used to the time? She will be 1yr.

  • Can you get her to adjust now? Say a half hour each day, or 15 minutes, depending on when your trip is? Get her adjusted to the time at the destination while you are still at home. Of course it will mean you adjusting, too, which really isn't a bad thing.
