recently called nurse cuz my son is coughing, shortness of breath and he threw up but has no fever. she suggested i go to walk in however it closes soon and i live far. should i go anyway?

my 9 year old has been complaining of chest pain, shortness of breath all day. he has a persistant cough also. but i didn't panic until i saw that he had threw up on tha floor in his room. so i called tha emergency after hours nurse and after answering a few questions she recommended that i take him in to the Panorama City Kaiser, emergency walk in. which is far from where i live. and even now as i ask this question tha chances of it being open when i get there are slim. however should i be concerned about it being swine flu even if his color is normal and he doesn't have a fever?

  • actually everything worked out ok...and after reading my post it did sound more serious than it really was. his chest pains weren't severe and tha trouble breathing was because of coughing and whoever wrote that anonymous tip was just plain fucking rude. i hate moms like that.

  • You should have gone to the ER instead of posting on a fucking message board after you've already spoken to the damn nurse!!! Your kid has CHEST PAIN and is having TROUBLE BREATHING.

Fuck swine flu, get your kid to the ER!!!!!! IT's not the fucking swine flu!!!!!!!
