Baby Spit Up

I'm really concerned about my son's spitting up. I'm wondering if I give him too much milk. He is six months old and he takes about 8 bottles a day. I am feeding him cereal in the morning, a fruit at lunch, and a vegetable at dinner. Each bottle is around six ounces. But some days he'll only eat 4 or 5 oz. I do burp him often and it doesn't seem to be working. He just doesn't burp sometimes even if I'm patting his back for a really long time. He always seems to just spit up. Anybody have any advice????

  • Well is he uncomfortable when he spit sup or a happy spitter? IF he is a happy spitter then it is ookay. If he is crying and fussing while spitting then it could be reflux.
I had 2 spitters but they were happy spitters and they gained weight fine
