Schools use to have a day when professionals, business owners, etc. would come and tell the students about their occupation.

kind of. my sons preschool spread it out over a month, they had different people come in, read books about diff jobs in class and had a day where they dressed up as what they wanted to be so they more had a career month then a day it was fun.Found an answer to your question?
