  • Check with your pediatrician or some child feeding websites, but my granddaughter's pedi is having me wait until she is 10 months old before introducing egg yolk.
Have you tried the infant cereals or some table foods that you eat? My granddaughter loves pasta, soft veggies, soft fruits, chicken, all in small pieces, and Cheerios, too.

  • If he's hungary, feed him. If he wants 2 jars of food and breast milk, then it's fine. But as far as egg yolk, um I doubt it.

  • Egg yolk is fine... but I don't understand how that will make him more satisfied?

If he seems "unsatisfied", then put him to the breast and leave him there. Chances are he's gearing up for a growth spurt. Your milk is the best thing for him and so if he wants more, let him make more.

You can also try actual food instead of jar food. I wouldn't offer more quantity though, if he wants more quantity it should be of milk at this age.

  • If he's still hungry, feed him. At his age, he can be on table foods.

  • at nine mo all of my kids were having eggs. Usually the most satisfying was oatmeal or bananas mushed with avacados. Usually my kids were never satisfied with store bought baby food... perhaps it was just to thin..IDK.
