Would you let your 17 yr old sister take your 2 yr old out places with her boyfriend?

My sister is 17 and keeps asking to take my daughter out places like; a carnival and park and mall alone with her boyfriend. I don't think she has ill intent. But she is not always responsible. And when she gets into trouble for what ever she is quick to pass the blame. I think if she can't except responsibility for what she does then she shouldn't be responsible for a 2 yr old. Am I wrong?

since you said she's not that responsible. she shouldn't because if she can't be responsible for herself.. what makes people think she'll be responsible for someone else?

sure. I let my 16 yo daughter and her boyfriend take my 3 yo to the school behind out house to play.

Umm yeah i think i would because maybe she will realize that it is too much responsibility and wont get prego on purpose. i also think that they will be less likely to have sex if there is a kid right there beside them!

Nope. It's your responsibility as a parent to do what's in your child's best interest not make her feel good. Tell her why not & ask her to prove you wrong by showing she's responsible.

its your baby, if you dont feel at all uncomfortable, dont let her take your child out. when i was 17, i took my niece and nephews everywhere with me, but i used to babysit them nearly everyday for like 3 years before i started to take them out, whether it was by myself or with my friend. Me, personally, i wouldnt let any teenager take my kid, but i've become very overprotective.

I used to take my niece everywhere when I was 17, of course I was basically raising her. Maybe I was more responsible than she is. My bf and I used to take her all over the place. Only safe kid friendly places, but all over.

Nope. I would not trust my child in a car with someone driving that I didn't know.... ever....

I'm not sure I'd be ok with a teenage driver being in control, and I don't see why they'd need to take a little one to the mall, but I'd have no problem with a walk to the park or something a little more kid-friendly.
