  • It just seems that this arrogant man with not enough experience is learning a lesson.

I call his term The Education of Barack Obama.

The Chinese could care less what he thinks about any of their policies.
They care to the extent that it affects them.
    Otherwise, no.
At least they have respected the likes of Reagan and Bush for their "F you" attitudes, indicative of their, "I'm only here because I have to be, I'm a realist" mindset.
Mr. Obama will learn that the world existed before he got to the White House.
He is just another bug under a microscope to them, getting thinner and grayer, if bugs can do that.

  •  David Axelrod, senior advisor to the president, fielded the journalists' questions in the hallway of the Blue House instead, telling them that the public's expectations had been "too high."

Seriously? The public works off of Obama's words and promises.  So if expectations were high, maybe Obama needs to examine his words.

  • No, I am sure the lady on the video didn't really think that she doesn't have to worry about filling her car with gas or paying her mortgage.

Good gravy, Axelrod made a huge understatement. Funny how it took them this long to admit what the rest of us have seen since day one.

  • In your eyes, probably. He could walk on water and you would accuse him of not being able to swim.

  • Anon :03 -- not quite. He did get elected, and he finally made his little woman proud of her country.

But in any case, he has never gotten what he wants when he goes on tour. So, taking all things into consideration, yes this trip also was a failure.
