waking up all swollen

i wake up all swolen and poofy, i notice the change in my fingers when i intwine them. my face is too. why do u think this could be and how do i correct it?

  • Too much sodium/salt. Try drinking lots of water before bed, or cutting out sodium.

  • Did you eat something really salty yesterday? Pizza, fries, ham, soup - anything with tons of sodium makes me and many women I know swell up like balloons. Drink lots of water - I mean LOTS of it - and see if it gets better.

  • Drink as much water as you can, and call your doctor if you start getting bad headaches or dizzy spells so you can get your blood pressure checked- swelling with headaches or dizzy spells can be a sign of pre-eclampsia.
