  • This is what we use:

    Turkey with Custer's Turkey Rub: this recipe comes from, courtesy of Chef Shadows

    * 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    * 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
    * 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
    * 1 teaspoon paprika
    * 1 teaspoon salt
    * 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    * 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    * 1/4 teaspoon basil
    * 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)

    Mix all ingredients together and rub UNDER and ON the turkey's skin. Bake as desired. I prefer to use an oven baking bag to keep the turkey moist.
