Need recipe help crockpot apple butter

OK, the recipe is below. Once I follow these directions, how can I serve or store this butter. It also doesn't say how much it makes. Do you think I could use a couple of mason jars and give as gifts?
Thanks!

Apple Crockpot Butter

8 cups applesauce
4 cups sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons allspice
2 teaspoons nutmeg
2 teaspoons cloves

Combine all in a crockpot & cook uncovered over medium heat for 6-8 hrs.

  • Once it's cooked you can put it in sterilized (boiled) jars, seal them with lids & rings and they should be processed in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Once the lids seal they will be safe to sit on a pantry shelf until needed.
