At what age should i start solid foods?

  • 6mo at the earliest. if baby is breastfeed u can hold out till 9mo. really that first yr it's about the experience not nutrition. that said starting solids can cause future digestive issues. Like chrones, gerd etc. Late is better than early.

  • It's recommended to start at 4-6 months at the earliest.

    And for the first anon...even if the baby is formula fed you can hold off. There are no different recommendations with solids for a formula fed baby than there are for a breastfed one. I get so sick of reading that crap.

    And for your further information...starting TOO EARLY or TOO LATE can cause problems. Either increases the chance of food sensitiviits/allergies or possible diabetes as well as the digestive issues you've written.
