If boneless, skinless chicken breasts have a dark spot (looks like a slightly bloody bruise) is it still ok to cook and eat?

  • Yes it will still be good but if you can go ahead and try to cut it out if not don't worry about it.

  • It's most likely from a vessel - there's quite a few that run through breasts. I have that all the time when I buy them fresh, and it's fine.
