  • i think it's just BH contrax. as long as they aren't in a consistent pattern every few minutes, and just overall crampiness. that can go on for weeks from what i've heard from friends. myself, i only had that for one night at 41 weeks, and then i did go into labor the next day but i was sleeping so i wasn't aware enough to know if they were coming consistently. have you tried lying down for a bit to see how you feel then? gl! i think you still have a few weeks left.

  • it comes about every 5-10 minutes. lying down doesnt exactly make them stop... but it does help =/ i kinda hope its soon! haha

  • hmmm. i think it could be the beginning of labor but it's so hard to tell! a friend of mine had the regular cramping/contrax every few minutes for a whole day, then things stopped for a day, then it came back more intense for a day, then petered out again, i think it was a week or 2 before labor started and stayed consistent. well i do hope at 36 weeks you can make it 1 more week but with labor starting naturally i think it's less likely that baby isn't ready so..... BUT i do still think you have weeks left. :0)

  • try to take a warm shower, or walk. If they become more intense i would say call your dr. But braxton hicks feels like mild period cramps that stay in your back, where as labor pains kind of wrap to the front. When my started the more i walked the more i wanted to fall over. or try to stand with your hands on a chair and rock to see if that relieves some of it! i would check with your hospital though, i know mine wont deliever at 36 weeks i had to go to another hospital because of a NICU. Good luck mommy!

  • If it's more like period cramping it's just your body getting ready and could be a sign that you could be getting close. What you would be looking for is some real uncomfortable cramping in the back and stronger BH surges than usual.

  • Your body is just getting ready, you probably still have a few weeks. If they get stronger call your doc and talk it over.
