  • Douching anytime that is not perscribed by a Dr. is not good for you. Your vagina contains natural normal flora that douching destroys. When the normal flora is gone..bad bacteria and yeast can grow unchecked leading to infection.

  • I do once in a while, I have been doing it since I was 19 years old.

Sometimes I feel like it needs a good cleaning.

I have not had any problems.

  • My gyn said don't do that. That it is better to let the area self-clean.

  • Douching at any time can cause infection because it alters the natural Ph balance of the vagina.

  • While it takes away bad bacterials, it also washes away good bacterial that fights infections. Better skip using it.
