green beans?

SO doesnt like green bean casserole...some ideas what else to do with them?

  • chop fresh garlic and onions and saute them in butter. Add the green beans and a little chicken broth. Yum Yum!

  • Saute them in butter w/a pinch of salt & pepper, then dress them with paremsean cheese just before serving. You can even toss in a few toasted almonds or pecans for a different taste.

  • Toss them in olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and a little balsamic vinegar. Roast them in the oven @400º until slightly browned.

  • Steam and mix with Italian dressing. There's also a simple but tasty recipe that uses ranch dressing mix, not sure what else.

  • I had these last night. Target has the french cut green beans on sale for 45 cents so I bought some. I sauteed them in butter, garlic, onions, mushrooms and slivered almonds. Amazing!
