  • You can be pregnant and still have periodic bleeding. You cannot have a menstrual cycle.

People have implantation bleeding some times. Some women have spotting and some even have regular red blood. A menstrual cycle is the shedding of the whole lining of the uterus due to hormone changes. The bleeding people experience during pregnancy is caused by a variety of things. If you are experiencing bright red blood, get to the doc.

  • I think it's called spotting, and it's not like a regular period. Just a little bit of blood.

  • Not sure if it is called a period or not, but my sister was pregnant for 3 months and still bleed those 3 months at her normal time for a normal amount of time. She didnt know she was pregnant because of this. So yes you can bleed. She was lucky because she was a party girl and was out drinking and dancing all those 3 months every friday and saturday until the 4th month when she missed her period and went to the dr and they told her she was and when they did an exam they told her she was 4 months along! Talk about feeling gulity!
