With all the pumpkin pie questions lately i thought this would be a fun one.
So do you use real pumpkin that you cooked or canned pumpkin when making your pie? I personally only use real, I tried it about 10 years ago to save money and recycle a halloween pumpkin that never got carved and it turned out amazing. I didnt even like pumpkin pie before i made it this way. Now my family would freak if I didnt bake pumpkins each year after halloween to make pies for Thanksgiving. I also freeze the cooked pumpkin to use for christmas.
