Have you heard of the National Day of Listening?

Friday is not just a day of shopping.

"On the day after Thanksgiving, set aside one hour to record a conversation with someone important to you. You can interview anyone you choose: an older relative, a friend, a teacher, or someone from the neighborhood."

For me this is taking special significance, as two of my high school friends have died in the past year. We're not old enough to be dying, darn it.
