I really believe that people on food stamps should have to pass a drug test. I assume most people who recieve them arent on drugs but many are. THis country has fallen on hard economic times and i know people are recieving due to a lost job. That is ok, that is what it is for..I'm talking about the ones who have generations on Welfare. We need to do something about that. Plus i think people getting assistance should be held accountable. Im not against welfare, I'm agianst abuse of the system. That being said how many think drug testing would be a good idea? If they spent their money on drugs why should we spend ours to feed them?Answer Question

I love the concept, but it's a logistic nightmare. On one hand they should be able to pass a drug test because they are already supposed to be looking for work (correct me if I am wrong - is that only unemployment?), but on the other hand, what about the children that they are supposed to be supporting? I guess you could take them away, but where would you put them? It's a losing battle.
