slow leak?

I've never had my water break before on its own but about 3 this afternoon I felt a small leak... and it's been happening ever since. Esp if I stand up after sitting too long. I'm 36, almost 37 weeks. I'm not even positive I lost my mucus plug yet... I thought maybe that was it at first... but since it's been pretty consistant for several hours, I'm wondering if it's more. Don't wanna freak out my husband until I know for sure... any thoughts?

  • I've been leaking since last sunday (also 36 weeks)... They said its not fluid, just lots of extra discharge. I know what you mean about the slow leak and what not. I would go get it checked out just to be sure

  • Do you soak a pad in an hour? Or minutes?
Does it have any color or odor?
Does it get heavier after you lie down for a while?

Do you have signs of labor, contractions?

  • I leaked with both my children and didnt lose my plug either. It does feel like your peeing your pants when you stand up & stuff. I went to L&D & they said yup ur in labor! i didnt have contractions right away but once they checked me, they slowly started. So get your bag ready & here comes Baby :) Good Luck Chica!!!
