blood in puppy's stool? please help!!!

i have a puppy that is about 5 weeks old...he poops alot sometimes, like 3 times in a row. well i found a little bit of blood in it one time and then the next time he pooped it was just clearish/red mucus like. i haven't seen any worms in his poop, so what could this be? i can't take him to the vet bc they are closed today due to thanksgiving and probably tomorrow too!!

I would take him as soon as possible, there could be a chance that its parvo. not sure what ago they can get it, but its deadly so you really have to get it early. good luck

Its most likely worms. You can buy wormer at tractor supply or walmart. Chances are you won't see them and almost all pups are born with worms.

Take your puppy to the vet as soon as you can.The puppy needs to have it's stool tested to find out if he has worms and what kind so he can be treated properly. The puppy also needs to have a series of vaccinations to prevent distemper, parvo etc.
