It has nothing to do with public schools and everything to do with bad parenting and no morals being taught to children. Being homeschooled does not make children automatic angels just as public schooling does not make children little criminals.

They call what those kids got "punishment"? They better thank their lucky stars they weren't my kids!!! I don't care if they were Seniors who were pulling this crap, my child would have been pulled over my knee & given a sound spanking!! Make the little darlings watch "Schindlers List" or an episode of "band of Brothers"(I think it was ) where they encouter a concentration camp. Find a Holocaust survivor & have him/her tell these angels what life was like for them!!!

I am SO tired of the lack of disicpline children get. Beat them? No, but a good spanking on a behind starting as a toddler, what my mom called "putting the fear of God in your butt" didn't hurt me one bit.

BTW I have met homeschooled children who were heathens(also as my mom called bad kids) just as I have seen private school & public school kids!! Stop blaming schools. Just as charity begins at home so does respect!!
