Can you take tums while prego???? What about dramamine????

Yes you can take tums. Im not sure what the other medication is.

omg i go through like massive size bottle of tums all teh time. i have the worst heartburn this pregnancy! They sit on my nightstand! Dramamine, im going to say no.

Yes on Tums, I'm pretty sure it's no on the Dramamine. Ask your OB.

Tums with calcium added is even better! I was able to take Dramamine for a trip once, but check with your doctor!

My midwife told me i could take up to 6 tums in a 24 hour period once i started getting heartburn. After that, if i still had heartburn, i could take a pepcid.

Check with your doc on Dramamine. Mine said not at all in the first trimester, and after that, only if I absolutely needed it. I think it might be class C.

Tums, yes...I took them multiple times a day during the entire third trimester. The dramamine, I'm not so sure about. Check with a doctor.

Dramamine--I dont think so. TUMS yes IN MODERATION!!!!! I have terrible heartburn/reflux while pregnant (i am having #4) and a word of warning, too many antacids can cause kidney problems!!!!! I just got over a kidney infection caused by taking too many tums. I was going thru 1 big bottle in probably less than a week :( I wish someone had told be long ago that I could take ZANTAC!!!! I still suffer from reflux but the Zantac helps a little more than the tums and I only have to take 2 a day. Good luck!
