Umm, I think it's just the once. God parent's are only supposed to aid in your child's understanding of the faith. They don't have any legal rights or anything like that. I don't think you can switch God parents officially, but maybe you can ask someone else in the family with a strong faith and a real connection to your child to unofficially fill in when needed?Found an answer to your question?
