Christians-take away the trees, the round ornaments, the star, the lights, the wreaths, the candles and all the decoration...what do you have?

  • I still have Jesus :-) I still decorate because love to make my house festive lookin! Jesus loves a party ! I mean after all He attended a few ! :-) ( I wonder if that will offend the religious?)

  • I asked the question because all this time on CM hearing others complain how Christians "stole" their decoration I started to think. We are not putting up decoration this year. We are concentrating on family time and helping others. Oddly, my kids are beyond ok with it.

    On Christmas eve we are going to put up the $15 pink tree from Wal-mart on the table and celebrate with gifts. We will go to Mass and remember the reason why we are celebrating. Without all the "stolen" symbols we continue to have celebrate the birth of Christ.

    I am going to pull out the nativity set tonight!
