  • I gave my son chamomile tea in his bottle. Just made some warm tea and added just a bit of karol syrup to sweeten it a bit.

    never used peppermint though.

  • same. i'd ask the doctor about peppermint, but if anything i'd probably try mint leaves before peppermint. there's probably a lot of sugar in a peppermint candy.
i've used chamomille tea mix with the milk and it help to calm her.

  • I'd not give a 2 month old anything out of the ordinary (breastmilk or formula) when they have an upset stomach! You will have no way of knowing if it's a stomach bug or what you're giving them! They're not supposed to have extra water at that age anyway!!!

  • Wow i must be a bad mom... :) When DS3 was younger he had gas SOOO bad that mylocon drops didnt do anything for him... so I would crush a peppermint and give him some (1/4 of the mint) in warm water once a day (usually a 4 oz bottle) and it worked miracles with his gas.

  • Actual peppermint can help, but the peppermint candies are much more sugar then mint.
