  • When ttc yes. During labor I used my finger to feel the baby come down, but not for dilation -- useless information anyway.

  • Every day up until I'm sure ovulation has occurred and then not again until after my period has ended. We use the Fertility Awareness Method (this is NOT the rhythm method) and condoms during my fertile phase for birth control. Checking your cervix can provide you with a wealth of information about your fertility. Check out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility.
