Do you fry onions with your potatoes?

  • I get some smoked bacon at the buchers shop and after cutting the bacon into cubes I fry them together adding some paprika for color. YUMMY, and my kids adore this stuff.

  • Yes. Sometimes i do it with either bacon or kielbasa too. Yummy. I also add peppers to it if its for breakfast.

  • yes, I do. I have to slice them big, because our kids like the flavor, but pick out the onions.

  • I have, its great also for those who dont like the onions u can use onion powder, try garlic too! U can fry any type of veggie just about it with pootatoes, I have also put mushrooms in b4, try putting ham in as well its amazing!

  • No, because they burn by the time the potatoes are done. I only add the onions from the start if I'm grilling them. I fry the onions seperate with butter, then add them when the potatoes are just about done. It's actually a trick I learned on a cooking show, they were making American fries/home fries, and showed it that way. It really is a lot yummier, because the onions are nice & juicy!
