  • mmmm; think bland pound cake but not quite so dense...not exactly vanilla but not nothing either...it's hard to explain; lol

  • Yellow cake has no flavor not like say chocolate or lemon or vanilla. Its the same as white cake but white cake is made from egg whites and yellow cake from the yolks which gives it its color. No flavors added. Some people will add vanilla but its only 1 tsp so its minimal but most yellow cake mixes don't have it.

  • I'm a lemon cake with lemon frosting or cream cheese frosting, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and German Chocolate cake kind of girl! Yellow cake is for woosies!

  • It's a lot like white, but richer - it doesn't really have a flavor, it's just mildly sweet.
