is it safe to give my 13 month old grape drink from a powder?

i gave him walmart brand grape powder drink today. its sugar free but im curious if its safe? thanks

  • It's safe, but not ideal. If I were in a pinch I'd do it, but I wouldn't make it his regular drink. He's better off with water, milk or juice.

  • I would just suggest juicy juice or something like that. My son's 15mth old and his DR said that even tho something say "sugar free" doesnt necessarily mean that it is..

  • I wouldn't, but only because it is full of stuff he doesn't need. We stick to water, milk, or orange juice here.

  • Like the other moms said. Water, milk, or 100% juices. Nothing that comes in powder form :)

  • Water or breastmilk is all your child should have. Unless it is sweetened with stevia, your baby is better off with sugar sweetened than whatever chemicals are in that.
