My little guy doesn't always burp after (breast) feeding which, I believe, may sometimes cause him to have gas.

What are some ways to help comfort my little baby when he has gas?

  • My boy did the same thing and the doctor said that breast fed babies don't always need to burp. They swallow little or no air on the boob so I wouldn't worry too much. I always found that if I lay him on his tummy that was the best way to get a burp out if their was one.

  • i agree with the above. you can try pushing his legs back and than pedal his feet in circles too. that worked for my LO and she was lactose intolerant (we didn't know at the time) so she had gas all the time.
