  • Electric -- we have 16 ft ceilings and west facing windows, its nearly impossible to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter/

  • We live in a two bedroom apartment and thankfully all we have to pay for is the electric. Which runs about 100 in the summer and 40 in the winter. The gas and water which is a set fee is included in our monthly rent.

  • my gas bill ( heat & hot water ) we have a woodstove and use it but its still almost 300 a month.. and no one can figure out why. we have heat on 68* and use woodstove. but to answer your question again our gas bill...our electric is also high even though we have the efficant light bulbs and lights dont come on till dark and are only on for about 3 hours a day and we unplug un use appliences ( coffe maker, microwave, ) but its about 200 a month.

  • That's the only thing I hate about living here, the water and gas aren't included with the rent. We get trash pickup for free at least, lmao. We have a set payment plan on our power, it's nice to only pay $58 a month but it sucks that we'll have to pay whatever we went over next year.

  • Gas, in the winter and electric in the summer.

Answer by BlainesMommy09 at 11:06 AM on Dec. 1, 2009

  • Depends on the time of year. Summer, it is the Electric bill. Because of the A/C. Winter, it is the Gas bill because of the furnace.
