  • That sounds normal to me. Babies and toddlers just develop differently. Some get their teeth faster than others. My 16 month old has 14 teeth, but I know a girl who's son is 4 days younger and he only has 4 teeth. I know another girl who has a boy a month older than my DD and he doesn't even have that many teeth; he only had 2 teeth on his 1st birthday. Maybe its a boy thing. LOL. I won't be worried quite yet.

  • I have a 15 month old girl with one tooth. Like above mom said, all babies develop differently.

  • I agree with previous posters. My son was also a slow teether. As your doctor at your child's next checkup if you're still concerned.
