Are you buying your kids Christmas toys made in China?

The Chinese companies that provide America with toys are highly dependant on child labor. Working them for as many as 80 hrs a week.Disney and Hasbro among the worst and vigorously defend the practice. They buy on the cheap risking out kids safety as well as the safety and health of the kids and adults forced to work for them.
I personally am boycotting ALL Chinese goods.

  • But you should ask why does are own government sends business over seas? Cheaper and us Americans seem to like cheap crap from Walmart. Make it in the USA people will have to pay more then they will cry and complain. There is no incentive to keep manufacturing here in America labor is expensive and corporate taxes are some of the highest in the world.

  • Yes, I have and still have bought toys made in china. It is beyond ridiculously hard to find American made toys here in Alaska let alone on base where we shop for toys. I would love to buy more American made toys but I have to order them off the net and it will cost me 2 times as much as the toy cost in shipping. When we lived in teh lower 48 we bought more homebound items.

I also don't buy Hershey, Hanes or Nike any more because of the child labor.
